Before you send
What can I send with LoadEx?
Parcels and packages, sacks and bulk goods, commercial goods, construction materials, large or bulky cargo, bonded cargo, and sensitive packages such as hospital samples and pharmacy medicines. We do not carry illegal or hazardous goods. If you are unsure about an item, call or WhatsApp us first.
Can you carry hospital samples and medicines?
Yes. We carry hospital samples, medicines for pharmacies and other sensitive packages. They are packed securely, handled with extra care and released only to the named receiver with their pickup code. Tell us about any special handling needs, such as temperature, when you book so we can confirm what is possible.
Where do I drop off my cargo?
At any LoadEx office on our routes. Our main offices are at Hotel Equatorial Mall in Kampala (Room 127) and Mbarara City Business Centre (Room 75). Sending regularly for your business? Talk to us about a standing arrangement.
How much does it cost?
The charge depends on what you are sending, its size and weight, and the route. Call or WhatsApp 0781 922 138 for a quote before you come in.
How will my receiver know their goods have arrived?
Your receiver gets SMS updates with a tracking link as the goods are loaded and move, and a pickup code when they are ready at the destination office.
Do I need to package my goods myself?
No. LoadEx staff check and package your goods before they are loaded, so they travel safely. You only need to bring them in.
What happens if there is an accident or my goods are damaged?
If something happens on the road, we recover your cargo and get it moving again. Any missing or damaged goods are recorded against your receipt and we resolve the claim with you.
